For those of you chomping (champing for Nicole) at the bit to read it, Writer's Digest has posted the story on their website.

My response? Holy Smokes!

Great story! I don't want to spoil anything, so thats all I'm going to say.

Are you still working on the Butterfly book? Didn't it have butterflies in the title?

Thanks, Kay.

Yes, the Butterfly manuscript is currently being considerd by an agent who requested a full. I should be hearing from her any day.

Geez, Dayle. I won't be going hiking with you anytime soon!

And "chomping" works just fine since a lot of horses "chew" on their bits.

Good character development in such a short framework.

You, too, Nicole. Everybody's been bailing on me lately.

Thanks. That's the great learning experience about word count limits. It forces you to make every one count.
