Ten people I'd most like to meet . . .

. . . without mentioning anyone in the Bible. They are a given.

In no particular order (and subject to change):

Winston Churchill
Thomas Jefferson
George Washington
Martin Luther
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Billy Graham
Ronald Reagan
Isaac Newton
Albert Einstein
Edgar Allen Poe

Care to name yours?

That's a seperate list, Todd.

Sandra Bullock, Salma Hayek, Maura Tierney, Alyssa Milano . . .

Well, you get the idea.

No Biblical figures, huh? Let's see...

I'm going to steal a couple from your list:

Abraham Lincoln
Tiger Woods
Winston Churchill
Tony Dungy
Ronald Reagan
Bill Cosby
Dwight Eisenhower
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Steven Spielberg
Ben Franklin

Mark,

Ben Franklin and Eisenhower certainly would be in my next 10. I can't believe you'd rather meet Tiger Woods or Tony Dungy before Billy Graham. Don't get me wrong. I love Dungy and love to watch Tiger play, but . . .

I'd love to meet Billy Graham as well. In fact, everyone on your list would be just as fascinating. I was just trying to come up with names on my own, rather than copying the entire list!

I think Woods and Dungy would be fascinating in their own ways, too. Check out Dungy's book, Quiet Strength, sometime. He's really a Godly man.

Btw, Mark, I sort of met Phil Mickelson. He's the nicest guy out there.

He took pictures with us. Gave two of my neices a ball he had just played a hole with. Some of the other guys just ignored the fans. Phil stayed there until everyone had a chance to get an autograph. And, he talked about the saints while doing it.

I think it would be awsome to meet everyone on your list. But I would just stand there like a stupid stump. I would not be able to say an intelligible word to most of them. And my attitude is generally, "They're just people", but not with those you've listed. I don't think I'd feel so intimidated with actresses, ect. They are just people and most of them need to be reminded of it.
But the one's you've mentioned -- they've done things worthwhile and that I admire.

I think I would like to meet Corrie Ten Boom, (I think she's dead)
Ronald Reagan seems personable in spite of his position and I think I could talk to him -- if he were alive.
Billy Graham I hope would be gracious and easy to talk to.
